I had some issues with the connection processes.
I created my arlo account and set up my base station, after updating the firmware it all looked good.
I have now tried to connect my 4x Arlo Pro 3’s but have found they simply flash blue forever and then I get a message saying nothing connected. I have tried to connect them one at a time. I have charged them to ensure they have brought battery. I have also reset each camera multiple times and attempted to reconnect. Lastly I reset my base and gave it a new name and tried this all again, no luck. I have spent hours trying to connect even a single camera and it simply doesn’t want to connect.
I wanted to check with resetting the cameras I held down the sync button and it began flashing orange 3 times. I then released the button and heard a click it then after a couple of seconds started flashing blue again, is this reset. The same happened when I let go before the 3 amber flashes and waited for the amber flashes to complete I also tried holding down the sync button way beyond the 3 amber flashes that happened after 10 seconds of holding as the suggestions by Arlo said to hold for sync button for 15 seconds but it flashed amber after 10 seconds. This also didn’t work.
I really need some help at this point as I am completely lost!!

When you reset the cameras, be sure to follow this procedure closely (note that there's a link near the top if you're using the user interface that uses Feed for viewing videos):

Have you reinserted the batteries to get to a known condition? I would hold the sync button for >15 seconds (maybe 30 or so) to perform the reset if the camera continues to be problematic.
ALso, what base or SmartHub are you using? The oldest bases (VMB3xxx) won't work with a Pro 3.

I have followed that exact guide, I have held the sync button until the light flashes amber 3 times, I have held the sync button for longer to around 30 seconds. No matter the length it always flashes blue, then flashes amber 3 times, it clicks and then flashes blue a couple of times.
I have done this over 30 times at this point and the camera still refuses to connect to anything. I have tried with all 4 cameras and none connect.
I have also charged all the camera's fully to ensure they have enough battery and no luck.
I have the base station VMC4540.
Any futher idea's on how to get the camera's working, is there a clear way to tell if the reset is actually working? What is the expected outcome or display to notify me a reset has worked, it just says it can take 45 seconds, how do I know if it has worked and reset?

I just tried this on a spare Pro 3 and see (mostly) your results. The difference is that after the 3 amber flashes (~10 seconds), it starts flashing blue as if syncing for a couple of minutes, not just a couple of times. This regardless of how long I hold the sync button. You may just want to swap at the store.

I just tried it again, and yes your correct, when it flashes amber I let go and it then clicks and starts flashing blue fairly slowly as though it is trying to connect.
It is still however, undiscoverable by my base station, is there any solution to this?

It may be a faulty camera so swapping at the store may be your fastest solution. Otherwise, use Settings, Support (Center) to select your camera model, scroll down to Contacts and start talking to official support.
