I'm trying to get access granted to my wifes account but it is always stuck as pending. not sure how to fix it.

An email should be sent to her email address. Check spam first. If she has a second address, try that.

Go to mode, device settings, grant access, click on name of person shared with, click grant administrative rights. then she logs out of app and log back in should be good
