The camera is stuck in the housing and I can't get it out. Any suggestions?

Pressing the button once will let the housing release part-way.
Try pressing it (and releasing it) again, and you should be able to slide it out.

I ran into this the other day - multiple button presses didn't help. I ended up taking the camera off the mount and shaking it hard over my other hand to get it to move. A light coating of an o-ring grease may be useful to prevent this in the future.

I have one that will not come out no matter what I do. I just charge it inside with the charger. If they get stuck usually as @jguerdat described banging on the back works but not this one now.

A CAREFUL probing with a small (jeweler's) screwdriver between the camera face and the case should get it loose enough to eject. I've resorted to that once or twice.

I thought of that but I'm not sure the smallest jeweler's driver would fit. I don't want to mess with it in case it will not click back into place. I usually charge the battery in the charging dock but I can live with the cable. Thanks
