I have 3 Arlo Pro 3 cameras, one on my garage looks out at the driveway and parking area. No power outlet available. power is by a solar panel. The solar panel can't keep up with the constant recording of shadows from tree branches and leaves and always the battery is constantly drained. 300 to 500 recordings per day. if it is windy.
How can I stop this camera from recording these moving shadows and only record people, and vehicles?
I have the sensitivity set low already to no avail.

Did you lower the motion sensitivity in your modes and rules? That's the only place where it would be useful. Repositioning the camera to avoid the trees would be useful, too, if at all possible. Changing the Field of View in the camera settings under Video Settings may prove useful although the PIR sensors can't be managed that way.
FYI, it's not the shadows/trees causing this, it's the reflections of the sun's IR off the leaves, etc. Since the sun changes angle as the seasons change, this may be only an issue now that would be different later on. Many of us use different modes to accommodate this along with the schedule.
ALso, use of Smart notifications reduces the number of recordings you can view but the camera still records everything so the servers can figure out whether the videos should be discarded.
