The battery to my floodlight has stopped charging. Tried to go thru chat and no one answered. Oh so helpful. I've seen this resolved in other chats but its all thru speaking with support. Any trade secrets people wanna share?

How are you charging it (outdoor charger, standalone charger, indoor charger)???
Are you using an Arlo charger or a third party one?

I'm using the charge cord that came with the device. I've tried plugging the cord into both a computer based USB port as well as a USB adapter for a traditional wall outlet (which is what I had done previously) - neither have any effect now.

Ok. Does that charge cord have a magnetic connector at the floodlight side? Or is it microUSB?

Ok. Since the cable disconnects from the charger end, you must be using Arlo's indoor charger.
That won't charge the Pro 3 Floodlight battery, though it will charge the normal Pro 3 (which has a spotlight, not a floodlight).
So start by checking the camera model (making sure you have the floodlight):
If that is what you have, then use a microUSB cable. It plugs into the side of the (black) side of the housing inside the camera, so you will need to remove it from the outer shell.

Thank you, this was incredibly helpful - and the first time I was even aware of that port - even though I've had the camera for over a year and charged using the magnetic strip previously. Very odd. But again, thank you.
