Purchased 2 cameras less than a year ago.  One camera will no longer charge the battery.  Bought a new battery - once it ran down, still had the same problem.

I remove the battery and re-install and get a slow blinking blue light for 5 seconds or so, then it goes blank.  When I return the camera to the casing and attach the magnetic charging adapter, I get a fast blinking blue light for roughly 10 seconds before going blank again.  No charge is taking place.

Solved the problem:

Removed the camera and battery from the casing.

Attached the charging adapter directly to the contacts on the camera - Used a rubber band.

Look at your app while adjusting the adapter and you'll see when proper contact is made and charging symbol appears.

It's a jerry rig, but it beats trying to communicate directly with Arlo.

Broomstick,

If you insert this same battery into your other camera and connect the same magnetic charging cable to that camera, does charging occur or is the behavior the same?

Sucks that you had to do it that way

Agree.  You can't get anywhere trying to communicate directly with Arlo Support.  We've all got enough sense to try the things they suggest before we actually contact them.

It's a shame.  The camera performs well, but customer service sucks.  Folks will always favor good customer service.
