I just purchased the Arlo Pro 3 cameras and base station.  I read that you can use USB flash drive memory to record, but it needs to be purchased separately.   Does anyone know how much memory would be needed to record for a month on three cameras and is there anything special needed with the USB flash drives?

Thank you,

Don

Are you intending to use the arlo cloud storage which would require a paid subscription plan after the trial period ends? You can manually record to the cloud but not to the base station USB.

What model is the base station, USB flash drive 16GB is minimum, format FAT32, for VMB4xxx models.

The 4540 is the only one that supports direct viewing access via mobile app, earlier base models require USB to be ejected and recordings viewed on pc.

The 16GB USB storage gives me about three months for 2 cameras at 50 short recordings each per day.
