Pro3 floodlight camera

My new Arlo pro3 floodlight camera will not work whilst the outdoor magnetic cable is connected. When I disconnect the cable and it is just using its battery the camera/floodlight works fine. Any ideas please.

Odd. You can try cleaning both sides of the magnetic connector with isopropyl alcohol to see if that somehow helps. It might be worth reinserting the battery, too. Otherwise, I'd suggest the power adapter is faulty.
