Having trouble getting a Pro3 Floodlight to reset and charge , any suggestions ?

Is the battery totally dead? Proactively charging is the best idea. Does the camera LED flash blue briefly when power is first connected?

The key is to keep plugging in and unplugging until the battery has enough charge to then charge fully.

You really don't want to try resetting it if the battery is drained.  It'd be bad if the power ended in the middle of the reset.

 

How exactly are you charging it?  If you are using an indoor charger with the magnetic cable, you instead need to open the housing and use a microUSB cable.

thanks for the suggestion - will see if I can get it charge up enough now to support onboarding
