I found a thread for this issue from 2021 and it might have been fixed by a firmware update. This is the first time the temperature has dropped below zero F since I installed the floodlight so I’m wondering if it is temperature related. I have a couple pro 4 cameras that are showing offline as well but most are working fine. I can adjust the brightness of the floodlight and I can turn it off via the live feed but it immediately comes back on. The firmware indicates it is up to date. Anyone else notice similar behavior when the weather gets cold?

We've been in single digits here in Rochester, NY with no such issues over the years. Are you also getting notifications/recordings? What are your motion and audio detection settings? I doubt changing them would help but could be a test to try. Otherwise, I'd suggest removing, resetting and re-onboarding the camera to clear out any weirdness.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for not responding. The motion settings didn’t have any effect. I tried narrowing and moving the detection area to try to find something that might be reflecting the night vision IR but nothing helped.

I left the floodlight dead for a few days and charged it the next time the temperature got above freezing. It worked normally for a few days then when back to not turning off.   I really like the light when it works and I bought 2 more after trying this one out. Really, I think this one is ready for the trash. Hopefully the other two last longer but only one of them was new; the other two were refurbished so at least I won’t be out a grand if I trash them all.

Have you tried removing the floodlight from your account, resetting it and add it back?

I haven’t but I will when I take it down. If that is the “fix”, it will be pretty disappointing as that, imo, implies it is a firmware problem that has a good chance of affecting the other two I bought as well.

Well, the cameras are basically small computers and we've all seen them get stoopid at times...
