Pro 3 floodlight I opened the case to install the battery, now the case will not lock in place.

It can sometimes require quite a bit of force.  I've sometimes taken the camera down, which gives better leverage.  Then reattach it to the mount when it is locked in place.

But I think a better approach is to get some silicon grease, and apply to to the o-ring.

FWIW, I just live with it but really should grease the seal. I place my thumbs on the edges of the camera face, wrap my hands around the case and press.
