We have a Pro 3 Wireless Floodlight Camera at our front door that has stopped recording video clips. It still sends motion detection notifications, and you can still view it live, but it stopped adding video clips to our library.

We had a notification in the Arlo app that “activity zones are disabled until the camera is plugged into AC power,” but this is a wireless camera. It has never been plugged in to AC power, and used to record video clips.

We have 3 other Arlo cameras that are still actively recording video clips and showing up in the library section of the app.

Can someone help us figure out why the floodlight camera is no longer recording clips when the others are? How can we get it back up and running?

Activity Zones while on battery power and Cloud Recording are both subscription features - it sounds like your subscription for the camera has lapsed.

Hi, I appreciate the response.

We have two other battery-powered cameras that are working and recording clips without issue.  If a subscription is the issue, why would they be recording clips while this single floodlight camera is not?

If your other cameras are legacy models (pro, pro 2), then they were sold with 7-day free cloud recording.

Arlo stopped offering that on new models back in 2018, and all currently sold cameras require a subscription for cloud recording.
