I currently have Pro 2 cameras with VMB4000 base with local video backup via usb. If I add the Pro 3 flood light cam to the base will the video from the flood light also be backed up locally? I am really looking forward to building a complete Arlo ecosystem as soon as the HomeKit compatibility upgrade comes!

Yes, the video will be recorded locally as it would be for all your cameras.
