About a week ago my floodlight went flat whilst being plugged into an Arlo solar panel (it’s the correct panel for the model and has worked fine for nearly 12 months).

I charged the floodlight back to full battery using a usb charger as the solar panel should only be a trickle charge.

Now when I plugged the panel back in I am greeted with a msg in the app saying the solar panel is not an offical Arlo device or unable to connect charge device to camera.
The panel appears to be still putting out voltage as when the camera is connected it either goes into a lock out saying it’s being charged.

has anyone else had this issue and if so what was the solution?

This sort of behavior has been reported before on various camera models, especially the ones using the magnetic connector. While the panel itself may be faulty, try cleaning both sides of the connection with isopropyl alcohol to see if that makes a difference.
