Can’t add my smart hub 4540 to my Arlo app

I am unable to connect my new smart hub (VMB4540) to my Arlo app. I have hit the + button, and gone through the connections correctly. I have a constant blue light suggesting it is connected to my internet. Connecting my laptop tells me that the wired connection to the hub from my modem is good. But it fails to connect. Am I meant to see it come up on my front page? I have a spotlight connected, but the hub doesn’t want to. Any help?

Are you using a VPN? If so, disable it. WHat happens if you use the laptop to go to the web client (my.arlo.com) to add the hub? Check the router's connected devices list to ensure an IP address was assigned (which should be true since you have the blue LED). You may also want to temporarily disable the phone's cell connection to make sure it's using only your WiFi.
