I was very excited to purchase my floodlight cam. I am on the 3 month trial. My issue is the latency from the cam. Almost 30 second delay from motion to my iPhone. My older arlo cams had their own hub and the speed was 1-2 seconds. So can you tell me how to fix this issue. I would like to see people approaching my house in real time so I can use the speaker function Do I need to purchase a new hub ?
Firstly I haven’t heard back from my first post regarding latency. And before I return the cam another issue I am having is that I have set a mode for the cam to record for 20 seconds however I only get recordings 10 seconds. Can you advise if a attach to one of your hubs the delay will be better. Currently I am on you 3 month trial plan and the delay from cam to iPhone is 30 seconds plus
A delay is expected for content to reach your library as the it will only arrive in your library when recording has finished. You can reduce this time by adjusting the recording length to be shorter: How do I adjust Arlo video recording length?
Do the shorted recordings happen on every video? Are you sure you saved your settings?
