Hi - Does anyone know, for ANY of the outdoor Arlo cameras, if it should be caulked (like with silicone caulking) around the edges of the actual mount? Yes, I do realize that they are all NOT wired, just battery operated - my question is, what about the rain water that runs down the side of the house and then gets stuck somewhat behind the circular mount area? Does that cause damage, or it simply very slowly evaporates out, the same way it got in?
I know it's not part of the step in Arlo instructions, but my brain keeps imagining the water in that tight area between the mount & the wall outdoors.... causing mold and damage to my house.
I tried to Google this a lot, but maybe no one else thinks like me & this is a non-issue (hopefully)?
Thanks a TON for anyone who can answer to this.

In all the mount bases, to me, none of them are tight enough to be waterproof...
I don’t worry about it.
But if you feel the need to silicon , I would not do the whole thing...I’d only do from like 8 to 4 o’clock so there would be drainage at bottom if somehow water got in
