Online information suggested that using the Solar Panel with the Arlo Pro 2 camera zone motion detection could be used. However when I setup zones with the solar panel (which does keep my camera above 95% charged) I get a warning message on the camera connected to the solar panel on the main screen of my devices indicating that power must be connected to activate zones. Is this a design flaw? Bad information on the Netgear website? or Not even ppossible to do? Thanks!

The cameras need to be powered on with an AC adapter to be able to do those things. It is not a design flaw, just necessary to stop the batteries draining too quickly. If your cameras are plugged in to a wall outlet all these features will work. Plus, you won't need to have a battery in the camera. If the cameras are outdoors, that is a problem as Arlo had to recall their outdoor power adapter and have not told us when the replacement will be available.

As above. Zones, lookback, and CVR are features only available with AC power. The solar panel recharges the battery but does not allow these features to work, even when it's sunny, which is a bit disappointing
