I want to buy arlo pro 2 cameras. I have ATT wireless wifi. do I just need the cameras? Do they connect independently to my existing wifi? Do I need a base station? I am unable to find that information seacrhing the net?

You will need to use the supplied base that comes with any of the Pro 2 kits.

You connect the base via ethernet to your ATT gateway and then the cameras set up their own wirless network back to the base.
