i have a five camera system which i bought in feb 2018
everthing worked fine but now i rechage the batteries to 100% AND THEY ARE LASTING ABOUT 2-3 DAYS BEFORE GOING FLAT i have now bought 5 more batteries for about £200 but shorely the original batteries should not be doing this
and should last more than 7 months from new
the new batteries seem to be lasting ok so its nothing to do with the sytem its obviously bad batteries or do they only last that long in which case i think i will change my system as its now very expensive to maintain dose anyone know anything

I'd bet that your batteries are all fine and that it was a firmware issue that has now been resolved. It's likely that the timing was just so that it appeared that new batteries fixed the problem when it was really a firmware update that happened automatically at about the same time that fixed it for you.
