New VMB4000 base station. When I try to add it in the app or using the web, nothing shows up after the search.
The lights on the base station are as follows:
Power - solid green
Internet - solid green
Camera(s) - solid amber

It's been said that such bases with old firmware can't be added since newer firmware is required. However, is this a brand new base or a used one that's new to you? If the latter, the previous owner has to remove it from his account before you can claim it

You must be able to successfully claim the base so it's in your account. That process will also check for updates and install them. Unfortunately, it appears that firmware that's too old won't be able to install so the firmware can't be updated.

Is this a new install or has the base previously been installed? What do the LEDs on the base show?

Hi, my VMB4000 and my cameras were off for about 1,5 years. Now the App (IOS) discover the base, but it only shows offline.
1. Both On and Internet LED's are green.
2. I am able to see IP by the DHCP (Reserved) working fine every reboot.
3. Tried Factory Reset about 5 times.
4. Base is always discovered, received both messagem about firmware (Unable to update / Firmware is updated.) i don't know if it is really updated.
5. All the times i can ping.
6. Tried on Internet Explorer / Chrome / APP (IOS version) and same behavior.
What can i do?
Thanks
Pedro

When you stopped using the system, did you remove all devices from your account or were they just stored away? A reset requires that you also remove the base and cameras from your account so if they're still listed in Devices you need to remove them before you can add them back. You can't add a device that's already in your account. The gree Internet LED indicates that the base is connected to your account - perhaps you didn't actually perform a proper reset which requires that you hold the button for >10 seconds, until the LEDs flash amber.
