What is the best way to turn cameras off when monitoring isn't needed. Unplug the base station?

PS

As and added info... you can d turn off the camera in settings under the device ( device on/off ) but the savings in power over disarmed is so small that it's just easier to disarm.

The main reason for turning off camera in settings is a privacy mode that only the primary account holder can turn it back on. ( shared users can not )

Easiest way is to set the mode to “Disarmed”.
For longer time such as storage, remove batteries from all cameras and unplug the base station.

Just want to add that simply unplugging the base (while leaving the cameras powered) is a bad idea.

The cameras will start actively looking for the base, and that will result in the camera batteries being drained fairly quickly.
