What does the new "Best Local Recording" option do for Arlo Pro 2?

There is a new "Best Local Recording" option switch under Settings\Base Station Name\Local Storage. Does anyone know what does it do for Arlo Pro 2?

Yes, I did read this explanation: https://community.arlo.com/t5/Arlo-Ultra/What-does-the-sd-storage-option-quot-Best-Local-Recording-q... but in case of Arlo Pro 2, there is no 4K recording format available so hence is the question: Is this a UI bug, or this setting actual does something? I could not tell a difference in quality of my local recording with and without this option.

On a 4000 base and the Pro/Pro2 I don't see any difference either...

It may be for a future option when the Pro3 ( in 2K ) can run on the older bases.. obv it seems to be for the Ultra only right now
