Could be a variety of things but I suspect it's a reflection. Is the camera shooting through glass? If not, it could be an internal reflection in th elens.
BTW, the plastic film is off the lens, right?

It's definitely not reflection and yes the film is off the front of the camera.
When I initialise live view, all seems normal at first then about 5 seconds later the quality seems to change and the lines appear which seem to move across the screen and the traces, copy's of the person, fence etc. Maybe my drive is just too dark and the night vision is trying to compensate, that's about all I can think of. I'll try and get another good example.

Here is a very good example. Wait until 26 seconds and watch the change https://arlo.netgear.com/hmsweb/users/library/share/link/958A0D91603A109A_201812

Ok, weird. It's interesting that not only are there lines/ghosting but the image quality deteriorates at that time. I suppose it could be some form of interference with the WiFi signal to the base but I would think that would affect the whole image. Swap cameras areound to see if it follows the camera or location. I suspect it's the camera.

Thanks for the input. I only have the one camera so swapping them isn't an option.

Then I'd open a case with support, supplying these videos.
