Camera Won't Connect To The vmb4000

i have tried to connect camera to base station using instruction booklet but cannot sync

Most common error ( some info says hold sync ) is holding the sync button for 2 secs... It is a QUICK press only and then the camera button.

ALso, did you add the base to your account before adding a camera? That has to be done first, as per the directions.
