Hello

I have a VMS4230P-100AUS  (Arlo Pro 2 VMB4500 with 2 camera set (VMC4030P cameras))

I have added the base station in the app (iphone), and also can see in my arlo account on the web

However I am unable to add the cameras

Here is what I have tried:

Start with the Base station with a solid blue light & fully charged camera

Add camera in app, Select Camera, Pro 2

Press Sync button on camera placed next to the base, camera light flashes blue

Base station flashes blue

The app searches but no camera found

Sometimes there is a rapid orange flash on the camera before the light goes out on the camera

Base station goes solid blue

No camera added.

I have also tried the above by pressing the sync button on the base (base light flashes blue)

And the sync button on the camera (next to the base), light flashes blue

But still no camera is found

I have tried resetting the base (with a paperclip) for 10 seconds until the light changes to orange

Re-add the base, update firmware again and try the above again, but no success

Any suggestions on what to try next?

As strange as it may sound, temp unplug the ethernet and then press the base sync button quickly and then the camera ( with camera about 6 ft away from base, farther away from main router )...if the camera blinks fast blue then plug in the ethernet again

OR

Move the base as far as possible away from your router and manually do a sync as above...

I have seen when there is to much wifi interference the cameras have trouble syncing

@TomMac I tried the above, base station and camera are in a adjoining room from the router

Not conjested wifi here as in a suburban environment

This helped me, thanks! One camera synced after many tries, but efter I turned off the WiFi on my router all cameras synced fine on first try.
