I accidentally cut power to both my router and base station and then turn it back on. My base was no longer recognized within the app. I tried absolutely everything within the troubleshooting help center and chatted with the arlo bot to try to get it to connect. I tried resetting the bait station 10 times connecting the Internet cable before the power. I did all sorts of things. I have three hours into this and I can’t get it to work. I do not have a subscription with Arlo, so I do not have live support. I’ve never had a problem with my cameras before this happened. I need to connect the base station. Please help!

Is the base station still in the account (just off-line)?

What is the status of the base station LEDs?

After I accidentally kicked the power off of the router and base unit, the base unit just wouldn't respond so I removed the device and set out to add the device back.

The cameras were also unavailable or unaccessible on the app even though I did not remove those devices. The base should still be in the account though right? I can still log into my account but see no devices. Also, I tried all of these steps with my MacBook as well.

As for the LEDs, Power LED on the left is steady green, Internet light in the middle is steady green, though it does blink for a few minutes at first after each factory reset I did, to reboot.

Ultimately, the left and middle lights remain steady green, as did the right LED for Cameras, until I took the batteries out of the cameras. So now the right Camera light is dark. I am going to try updating the Arlo App on my phone, though I'm not holding my breath.

For future reference, there's always been an issue with the older bases not connecting to the router after a power outage since the base was ready before the router. The solution was to reboot the base manually or to power cycle both the router and base, in that order.

Generally, start fresh. Remove any and all devices from your account starting with cameras and finally the base, depending on what's actually there now. Hold the base reset button until the LEDs flash amber. Let the base reboot to green power and Internet LEDs while the Camera LED may be off or solid amber. Claim the base first and then add the cameras back. Note that it's easier to just briefly press the base sync button - don't hold it - and then a camera button to sync rather than using the app.

Holding the base reset button while the unit was all plugged in and powered on until the lights flashed amber worked to reset the base and allow it to reboot and reconnect.

I’m certain I tried this technique previously with different results. The two separate instructions I found in the support section regarding my three LED base unit referred to unplugging everything and holding the reset button for 10 seconds and a separate suggestion instructing me to hold the reset button in with everything plugged in until the lights flash green, which is a result I did actually get.
I have no idea how the lights turned amber this time by holding the reset button only until it flashed amber. I have no idea why this was not in the support anywhere either but I guess it is now. Everything is working now, thanks for your help!
