We have had the Arlo Pro 2 for almost 3 years now with no issues. We lost internet service the other day for a couple of hours. When the internet came back, Arlo failed to re-connect. We have tried resetting the home base by inserting a paperclip, unplugging & re-plugging in every wire. Nothing has worked. The internet light has no light at all. The left and right lights are green/connected, but the middle light remains off no matter what we have tried. Need help!!

Have you tried power cycling the router then the base station waiting for each to finish booting?
Check the router can see the base station has an IP address assigned in its web interface.
It is also possible that your isp has blocked ports for arlo.
What are the current LEDs status on the base now?

Can you provide some clarification on this solution? How to check the ports and if that is necessary as we are currently plugged in via an ethernet cable. Our internet is completely normal aside from the home base not being able to connect to the internet any longer seemingly from losing service for ~2 hours

Did you just lose internet service?  Or did you lose power?

You shouldn't need to check any ports.

The internet light is completely off, which indicates that something is wrong with the ethernet connection to the router.  If it were amber, that would indicate that the ethernet is ok, but the base still can't reach the internet through the router.  Then looking at blocked ports would be a useful step.  But that isn't what you are seeing.

Have you tried the other steps @Dannybear mentioned?  For instance rebooting the router? Also, double-check that the ethernet cable is fully inserted into both the base and the router.
