I renamed my "Trusted Device" which is an iPad in the iPad's Settings area. This would be the same thing as resetting to factory specs and buying a new one. I set up the Arlo system in the first place with my iPhone.
When trying to log in with the iPad or with my PC, a message was sent to my old name for my trusted Device. It gave me 30 seconds to get the code. However, it timed out immediately.
I was told to use the trashcan icon next to the name of the trusted device. No such icon existed.
My cure: I turned the iPad OFF. I turned off 2-factor authentication (from my iphone).
I logged in with my PC and then turned on the 2FA. The old name for my iPad was still there, however, the trashcan icon was also there. Using the trashcan icon, the old name was successfully deleted.
I turned the iPad back on and turned on 2FA and renamed the iPad as my Trusted Device.
Problem solved!!!!!!
