Tried updating camera for Arlo Pro firmware but doesn't work. Tried opening battery but nothing.

I bought an Arlo Pro 2 base with 2 cameras. I want to continue to use my Arlo Pro cameras. They connect, but say i need to update the cameras firmware. I click update but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried opening the battery hatches for the past three days and they still won’t show any video. Any advice would be great!

Power cycling the base sometimes helps. If not, try removing one camera from Settings, My Devices and resync it for testing. If that works, do the other one the same way.

BTW, on the Pro/Ultra cameras, you have to remove the battery to reset the camera. Opening and closing the battery door only works on the original wireless cameras since the battery door includes contacts for the batteries. The newer cameras don't.
