Hi guys, I have a few Pro 2s that are now scrap, but I would love to take a crack at grabbing raw signals from the image sensor. I understand this may be a significant challenge, but I’m up for it. It would be rewarding to utilize for machine vision.
So far I have determined that I’ll need a HiRose mezzanine connector (this one seems likely DF40HC(3.5)-40DS-0.4V(51)), and I’ll be doing as much of a pinout as I can this week. The idea is to replace the OmniVision processor with something more friendly, whether off the shelf or designed to be open source.
If anyone could point me in the right direction or to a sub where topics like this are heavily discussed, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Hi @kesarswet
While the Pro 2 has reached end of life status, The Pro 2 along with other legacy cameras continues to work with Arlo just as it always has, including cloud storage and a wide variety of available features. @ShayneS he's trying to utilize hardware for his own purposes, not continuing with Arlo.
