My system was offline for a few weeks even though all 3 LED lights are green. I am taking the daytime off to reinstall the system.
After I remove the Base Hub and try to add it back. It says "Firmware status could not be checked at this time." and does not allow me to go any further. Please help if you have a solution to my problem.

You could try and do a factory reset on the base and then re-install.

Good suggestion. I tried to avoid this step but it is probably the way to do it. Taking the outdoor cameras down is not a trivial task.
Thank you very much for your response.

It works. It is just a lot of labor to remove and reconnect the outdoor cameras. Thank you for the suggestion.
