I've recently purchased a network attached storage (NAS) device. Is there a way to get the base station to save videos to the NAS rather than the local hard drive connected directly to the base station?

While is may be possible, many find it much easier to just use a mem card or usb mem stick of about 64GB ( or larger ) depending on which your base uses.

A larger usb mem device will store months of recording easily.

Do you have any idea how I'd go about setting that up? I only see an option for local storage device.

No.

FWIW, I wish it were possible, I'd much rather have my local recordings on the NAS.

I safely eject the various drives once a month and copy all videos onto my NAS. Since a NAS is NETWORK attached storage you can't directly record onto it since the base uses a USB connection.
