I'm helping a friend who is on the new app interface (I, thankfully have not been forced yet)

I cannot get the schedule to change at the specified times.  I have deleted the automation schedule several times and started over.  Updated the app, Uninstalled the app and reinstalled.  Restarted android phone.

I have compared to other user's screenshots and this is set up the same.

I have tried test schedules and they will not change either.

I want to arm away at 10pm and standby 6am.

(I have a more complicated schedule set up for another user that is working perfectly)

Images Attached of modes and schedules.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?

I have a schedule that should change from standby to armed home at a certain time. It won't fire. Stays in standby. The schedule is always enabled. Ideas why? Thanks!

Can you post a screenshot of the automation?

Not sure I did that right. Let me know if I need something different. Thanks!

That's fine.  It does look like it is correct (I am seeing that it is always enabled).

Is it always misbehaving?  Or just sometimes?

Also, it is not changing at all, or is it changing late?

It has worked occasionally, and yes late, but like last night didn't work at all.

Also in Arm Home some cams are set to notify and record but that is not happening. So it seems communication within the Arlo system is not working for me.

Maybe start by disabling the schedule, and then seeing if the three modes all work as you want them to.

Well right now if I manually switch to arm home detection works. So I guess my biggest issue is getting schedules to trigger. If I could solve that first I can maybe go from there. I have 2 base stations. Not sure if that matters. One is out in my shed and connects with cameras near it. One is in my LR and connects with cameras near it. My wifi is mesh so coverage is good.

All your schedule automations are "always enabled"?  Maybe try deleting the automations and then recreate them.

Yes. All always enabled. I even created a test one firing 15 minutes after I created it and no success. Ugh. I guess I can power cycle both base stations and my router. I don’t know where the weak link might be. Seems like Arlo software issue.

These automations are set up to run only when the system is in Arm Away or Standby mode.  They will not run when the system is in Arm Home.

Is that what you intend?  If so, did you put the system into either Arm Away or Standby when you created this schedule?

I removed all the rules for arm home and will not use the arm home mode.

I've put the system in both arm away and stand by manually from the dashboard, trying to get it to initiate with no luck

There's one other poster (  @RamdyStarkey ) reporting that his schedules aren't triggering either (and his automations also look corrrect).

So this could be a bug that is affecting some users.

@BrookeN , @JamesC , @ShayneS - this looks like something that Arlo should look at.

We can take a look. In the meantime, I would suggest to change the schedule such that they will trigger for all modes (“Always Enabled”) and see if that will work.

I saw a few post with this same issue and wondered. Just odd that it's not giving issue to the other user I helped. Thank you for tagging.

The cameras all seem to now be obeying their settings for each mode, but no schedule will fire. Is there any conventional wisdom to solve this, or just trial and error? Thanks!

I also have the problem , which the system unable to change modes following the schedules these few days.

On that note - there was an outage for Android with mode changes and automation the last few days.  That issue has been resolved and it should work properly now.

Yup , it show 'armed' in dashboard , but actually no change mode at all, previously it will show 'armed' in cloud page, but not now.

Did you try deleting and recreating the schedules, as suggested above?

Yup.

And are the new schedules "plain vanilla" with no modifications other than to change the mode? If you use the Test Automation selection at the bottom, does that work ok>

I'm sure your programmers had a great time designing the new app, but for (apparently many) users like me it is a nightmare. In good faith I bought new cameras last year because I had to to keep up with your system upgrade. They worked fine with the old app. Again in good faith I updated the app, never suspecting it would hinder my use of the cameras I bought. The routines won't work. They will not activate on the times scheduled; I have to switch things manually. I've tried every fix I can find online, even to now trying to automate through Google Home (without success so far because Standby doesn't show up as an Action option). If it hasn't worked because I've missed some minute detail in the setup, the problem is still Arlo's. It shouldn't be so complicated.

There's an old maxim that Arlo should observe: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. In having your fun, you have made cumbersome what wasn't before. What are you thinking?

This whole situation is wrong. You owe it to the people who've paid a lot of money for your products to get this right.
