I've read multiple post on short clips leaving gaps in activity due to a brief pause in motion.  I think Arlo should resolve this as it defeats the purpose of security if you don't have the full picture of activity.

My thought is the recording should keep going, say 10 - 15 seconds after the motion is deemed "stopped" as  the person or animal, in my case, could have briefly paused. If the motion is resumed within this motion "stopped" timeframe, the camera should continue recording so a brief pause doesn't out smart the security system rendering it only partially useful.

Does anyone else feel the same?

PS  In meanwhile, I always recommend to use a FIX time to eliminate this issue
