I can open the cameral through the app and it works . However, it no longer responds to motion. No amber light and no triggers. The other 4 in my system operate nominally.

It’s likely the motion detector has failed or the camera firmware has is buggy.
Try removing the problem camera’s battery for at least 10sec and reinstall. This is what I do when the camera behaves this way.

Thanks Danny. I've tried that with no success. Have you had any experience with Arlo repair service? If they offer it that is...........Roger

I don’t believe arlo has a repair centre as such. I think they only send you a used camera instead for warranty replacement since the product is discontinued.
As it is likely out of warranty you could look for a used camera on eBay but without a warranty even if you can get one that works.
The other thing to try is to remove the camera from your account and reinstall in case it fixes it.

Thanks Danny. I'll try to find a used one. Had I know how little support was available from ARLO I'd have chosen another brand. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I won't be replacing this system when the time comes with ARLO products.
