I’ve had 2 Pro 2 cameras and a base station for several years and then have mostly been fine without issues. Within the last week boy cameras have disconnected from the base station and I can’t get them to reconnect. I’ve gone through all of the listed troubleshooting steps but nothing works. The base station shows as online, but the cameras won’t sync. I found online that the cameras don’t go end of life until 2025 so the should continue working at least that long. I haven’t had any other trouble with them until they just disconnected last week.

Can you try removing the camera battery for 10sec to reset the camera.
can you try manually syncing the camera to the base by momentarily pressing the base top button then pressing the camera top button.
can you try removing the cameras from your account and re install as new.

I had tried all of those things before, but I just went through all of them again. None of them work. I don’t get a connection to the base station.

Do you have any LEDs showing on the base station? What model Base do you have, look for the VMB number on the bottom label.

The base is VMB 4000. All 3 lights on the front of the base are green like they always have been. The base seems to connect and I can access it through the app, but those two cameras don’t connect.

What does the LED on the camera show when inserting the battery as well as when trying to sync?

When trying to sync, it blinks orange/amber. Never get the blue light that says it’s synced.

When first pressing the camera sync button, it should slowly blink blue. If not, there's an issue with the camera or the battery is dead. The latter is why I asked about what the LED shows when inserting the battery.

A blue light appears when I take out and re-insert the battery. Then it blinks orange when I try to sync. The battery was charged only a week before the camera broke connection with the base, so I know the battery isn’t dead. Seems odd that it would be a camera problem if both cameras died at the same time after working properly for about 4 years.

If it starts blinking amber immediately when pressing the sync button, there's a fault in the camera - it should slowly blink blue for a long time followed by rapid amber if the sync fails. Knowing exactly what the LED shows starting with the sync button press and for however long it takes for the LED to turn off may be important.
