I’ve plugged a power cable in to one of my cameras but the batterie has now died and says it needs charging? What’d the point of the power lead? I thought this would save me keep charging the batteries!

Are you using the ORIGINAL cable and adapter ??
A normal 5v usb adapter will NOT charge the battery

I have purchased some leads, not sure if they are correct but I was told they were fir the arlo pro 2, I don’t remember receiving any in the box when I purchased them.
So does the power lead continuously charge the batterie in the camera? Or can the batterie be removed once a power lead is connected.
What V does the power lead need to be ?

You can leave the battery installed since the camera will only charge it to a safe, true 80% (the indication will show 100%). The charger msut be the proper one, with both 5v and 9v outputs. 5v will run the camera, 9v will charge the battery.
