One of two base stations receiving motion alerts but not recording video

We have two base stations and seven cameras. One of our base stations sends me an alert, via text, for each motion detected, but NEVER records video. The second base station and cameras attached to it work just fine.
I see this has been an ongoing issue with Netgear for many years, and apparently they have no interest in fixing it.
The last thread I saw about this was dated March, 2020. This is now June; is anyone else experiencing the same issue still or does anyone have a suggestion for a fix? Thanks.

While tere may be various explanations for this, if power cycling the base and reinserting camera batteries, as well as checking your modes and rules, doesn't help, I'd consider a system reset. Remove all associated devices from that base as well as the base itself and start fresh. Be sure to note all settings, modes, rules and schedule to speed the rebuild.
