For the last couple of weeks I have not been receiving notifications on the four pro 2 cameras that I've owned for four or five years. I thought that it may be something to do with the over-the-air update to my OnePlus 12R phone because after the update I did start receiving notifications but that only lasted for a few days now I'm receiving none again. I have readjusted all the settings I'm able to access and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the cameras. While the system has always been a problem with slow notifications and slow going live I at least was being notified. The only thing I can think of is this new update to the app. Although I was receiving notifications just after the update. I use a OnePlus 12r phone and I'm on spectrum Wi-Fi my connection is over 500 mbps download and over 21 upload at -29 dbm. Anybody got any ideas?

Yes... Everything is working it's just not notifying me on my phone it's not even showing a notification dot or appearing in the banner. I might get one notification a day on a random event or movement. I thought maybe it was the OTA update I received but it was happening before that and actually started working for about a day or two after the update. And since then I've received another update but I'm still not getting any notifications

All the settings I have access to have been reset I have disconnected the cameras and reinstall them I have disconnected the base hub and reinstall that. Nothing has changed in my end other than the updates I've received over the air for my phone but I don't see how that would have any effect. I note with interest however that these pro 2 cameras are now end of life from Arlo. I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it.

I just remove the battery and replaced it and this one camera is now recording motion to the feed but still not alerting me or notifying me... I thought maybe it was because the Arlo app was battery optimized so I change the optimization so that it's running in the background without restriction and that still is not solved the problem I can't think of anything else to try. At this point the only thing I could do is buy a different brand of camera

Have you checked the camera rule in the mode(s) you are using?

Yes... And now I just walked in front of two of them and nothing was recorded and sent to the feed. A third camera a half an hour ago recorded a car driving by but no notification. So I don't know what the hell's going on at least before I was receiving a recording in the feed of an event but now it looks like I'm not even getting that. This has to be because of the update I received on the 19th of December that change the Arlo app. That's when all the problems started. It really can't be anything else I've had these cameras for four or five years. And I've had this phone for about 9 months and the problem started before I received and over the air update for my phone.

So now I'm also experiencing intermittently the record of the event does not go to the feed for several minutes after. And while I have received two or three notifications throughout the day mainly from my front door camera I'm still not receiving regular notifications on all the cameras. This has to be a problem with the app.

So now I'm done with Arlo after 4 years. I've purchased a new system. It's amazing how this Chinese crap that were forced to buy because they seem to be the only show in town always has this planned obsolescence baked into the cake. I don't believe in coincidences. When all of a sudden I receive an update to the Arlo app and then their end of life for the pro 2 cameras are the only two things that have changed in the four years I've owned these cameras all the sudden the camera's refuse to notify me of an event you don't have to be a genius to figure out 1 + 1 = 2.
