Since today morning i cant login to arlo app in Samsung s10+

It says No internet connection. Am using new app and it was working fine.

My friend who is using iPhone also told me he wasn't able to login to the app to view his arlo camera

Can someone help?

Solution

This worked for me.. Able to login and also see the videos

1) Forget the network (wifi) in your phone

2) Uninstall the Arlo app, Arlo legacy app 

3) Go to web portal, and enable two factor authentication

4) Logout of that web portal

5) Reboot the phone

6) Wait for 5mins

7) Install the Arlo new app only

😎 Login works now

9) add as trusted device

 

All good now.

I am having the same issue on a Note 8. I did manage to get in when I changed from wifi to 4G but videos wouldn't play.  Also when I log in through the desktop site I can not play the videos, comes up with an error and says to download. When I try to download another error comes up.

Yes. i can login now. I enabled 2 facto authentication using web portal and now tried to login. it was recognizing the 2 facto setup and asked me to enter the code. this update was done on 14th october which screwed the authentication. Now i can login and see your issue where i can play the videos!!!!! 😞

Session got expired and it kicked me out. Now back to square 1, same login issue.

Tried this step by step, but no joy.

 

I still get the red bar at the top of my phone saying "No Internet Connection", but I'm clearly on the net...email, news, weather. etc....

 

Worked until I upgraded my application to the latest...

Now, I can get it to work, IF and only IF, I turn the internet off on my phone....  Then it works fine..

 

Something is broken in this version of the Arlo app.

Same thing (turn the internet off and it works) with my wife's Iphone 11.  So it does the same thing with Iphone and Android.

 

Kind of sucks.

Are you still experiencing this issue? have you removed the old arlo legacy app & installed the new arlo mobile app on the play store? 

 

What version of the Arlo mobile app are you using?

Yup. I did that. As soon as i got the message to download new arlo app. I removed the legacy one and migrated to new one. I thought i solved this issue but i got same internet connection error. I had to do same step i wrote and solved it. But am afraid this might occur again.

I just rebooted my android, turned on the wifi and started the arlo app (2.9.2) and it appears to be working today.

 

I can't try my wife's iphone until she gets home, but for now it seems OK.

Everything is working fine today. Didn't change anything on my phone from yesterday.
