I am experiencing issues with the connection to my cameras, which has just started last night. The base station LED is showing that there is no camera connected. When looking through the Wi-Fi networks the usual Netgear99 is no longer showing. Tried to sync, no joy, power cycled, no joy, reset internet, no joy. Everything had been working (sort of for Arlo) satisfactorily for the last few months, nothing has changed. I am away from the cameras as of tomorrow, so if the cameras can not connect I have no security. Advice most welcome.
Firmware is 1.12.2.3_2762, VMB4000r3 with 5 Arlo Pro 2 H4 cameras, all outdoor using Solar Panels.

Since you have already done the usual, try removing each camera from the account from camera settings page and then add new camera back again from the devices page.
Second last resort is removing the base station from the account and re-adding from scratch.
Last resort is to perform a factory reset of the base station that requires performing the removal process mentioned above.
If still no joy then you may have a faulty base and need to get an RMA from Arlo support. Make sure you have something between your teeth when you contact them.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Dannybear. It was the last resort, factory reset. I tried removing the cameras and it would not sync back so the reset had to be done. Not good that this has happened as there is no solution other than being physically present, which if the reason you have the cameras is because you are not there then....

Well the factory reset lasted a full 2 days. Now the cameras are offline again, and I am 7000 miles away. I can see the Base Station online, but all cameras are offline. Tried a remote restart, about all I can do, nothing. So, now I am at wits end.

Perhaps you should take it back and get a dog instead, I’m thinking this myself.

Nice one Dannybear. Any idea on which breed I should buy? Preferably one that does not need feeding or watering for a month?
The system has become intermittent now. Occaisionally the cameras come on line. I turned off the Geofencing, as it was showing me as at home even though well out of range and just armed it. This prompted the cameras to come online, for about a day. Following on the footsteps of that I have now selected schedule. When armed, cameras slowly come on line, when disarmed, no connection.
Looking at the Argus system as a replacement, or the LogiTech Circle Wireless. I have Netatmo indoors and works perfectly, but theyt don't do a wireless version (yet).

Regards your camera issues, you mention that they go offline(no connection) when you disarm them, this is something new that I have not read here before. Might be useful to the forum to detail this further as this could be a new symptom to be visited to us all going forward.
As for moving on from arlo, it is a shame arlo has made such a mess of a potential product winner.
If we could go back in time by six months, I would not have touched it with a ten foot pole.
