Night vision is hard to see on Arlo Pro 2 during the night. Can't tell who set motion off.

My arlo pro 2 has absolutely horrible night vision on it . I couldn’t even tell if there was a dog or cat that set the motion off but whatever it was was big enough to take out one of my small driveway lights. Any pointers before I get any more fed up and go with a different company ? With my two children and my husband AD in the military , I need a reliable camera . The day on it is amazing . Night which is what I want the most is beyond bad .

It looks like the night ir illumination ( esp right side ) is reflecting off of siding? and washing out picture

Agreed, so perhaps try changing the camera positioning.

Also, do you have a skin on the camera?  That can interfere with night vision, so if you do have one then try removing it.

My $.02 - the distance is an issue for how much lighting you can get from the IR LEDs. The light color of the top of the caar may also be affecting the auto-exposure.

Also, when I view dim nighttime videos on my phone I find rotating the phone to landscape so the image enlarges helps significantly. Also using a larger screen (tablet or computer) helps a lot.
