New app is having playback issues

We installed these in May and everything worked great u til this new app.
Now our captured videos play back super fast or don’t play back at all.
Half the time the cameras don’t capture or record .
If they do capture or recited the playback is horrible.
Cannot watch live cameras.
We updated our modem and router to a more powerful neatgear Nighthawk thinking this will help.
It doesn’t help. All this money spent for what? Nothing works correct anymore and I’m rather upset.
