Hello,
I purchased 4 Arlo Pro 2 cameras and currently have one installed running on batteries.
For testing the different features, UI and so on, I placed it in a room where there is kids movement in the afternoon time.
The battery was fully charged (went out of the box) and in about 5 days I am already in 75% of battery capacity.
This means it will last for a very short time and much shorter than all publications around lasting for months.
Any ideas? Does it make sense?
I haven't opened and installed the other cameras yet, but this is quite disappointing... I already purchased a lot of accessories for these cameras...

The batteries have a finite life... it's record time vs lenght of use.
The first thing I always asked is ; what is you total record time on the batteries?
In spec useage the batteries are rated for less than 5 min per day and will then last at least two-three months in my testing
If using indoors , then there is no reason not to leave plugged in ( will not hurt battery ) and then battery life is mute
