I have my Arlo Pro 2 base station in another room and connected to our main home Spectrum router thru a Cisco N router as a bridge. Older router. Wireless N Gaming and Video Adapter is name on box.

I lose internet on the base several times a day. Still troubleshooting.

But, if I need a new router/bridge, is their one you guys recommend. Maybe a Netgear since Arlo is Netgear.

Hi @rugmankc1

Have you verified if your home network goes down when the base is offline. This will help determine if it's your router/modem having an issue vs the base station.

Thanks Shayne,

No home network is good. I have the Arlo base connected directly into home router/modem. No internet loss on the Arlo. Hoping it is just the older Cisco router I was using. Had issues with it before.

I ordered a new Netgear Nighthawk router. Coming tomorrow.

Also, gettting outdoor cables to run on cameras AC. Have the supplied magnetic mounts. Hope I can still have full range on the mounts with the cables plugged in. The cameras are turned to the lower left in a 7 o'clock position.

Got the Netgear Nigthawk rc1750 router and all seems to be running fine now.

Thanks for help---
