My arlo pro 2 does not pick up motion 50% of the time

UPS just delivered packages and it didn’t detect the driver but did detect me putting them in the garage. This has been happening a lot lately.

It all depends on the sensitivity setting and the direction of motion (should be across the FOV, not at the camera). Post a screenshot for suggestions and read the FAQ here on camera positioning.
