my notifications have stopped coming to my cell ph but are coming to my e/mails which is very slow when you get an alert and want to call the cops any idea what gives im in nz

Have you tried to reboot your base station & test again? You can also try & remove/reinstall the Arlo Mobile App.

Tried everything only way instant notifications came back was to remove cameras from smartview. Also activity zones keep recording to library even outside the zones set so that does not save battery power as it states and alerts in the zones are hit and miss with alerts up to 5 mins later. Surely in your programming you can add , if activity zone set record only from zone area activation and ignore outside zone activations and send instant push.
