No, but...

If outdoors, you need to be using a power supply and cable that provides weathersealing. The wall wart needs to be wetaherproof and the cable needs to seal the connection at the camera. In other words, don't use an indoor adapter. If you run into problems by using a 3rd party solution, Arlo likely won't cover warranties so your camera could be toast.
