I have an Arlo Pro2 camera positioned outdoors and I've run a USB cable to it to provide it power.  (Actually, I've had to string a couple USB cords together).  There is no battery in the unit, as I don't want to use battery power.  However, I'm getting a low battery indicator.  Could this simply be resolved by putting a battery in the camera?  Will it still bypass the battery and use the electricity from the outlet to which it is plugged?

TIA.

Hi,

I also am having same kinda issues with my Pro2 Camera.

I have a camera placed outside, but the power supply is placed in our living room. So the power cord runs from outside to inside.

To problem that I have, is that the Arlo-app is saying that the power supply isnt suitable for the product? The power supply and the cord is original products, but the app tells me that they arent working?

So eventhough I am using battery inside the camera, the power isnt enough from the power supply?

could be voltage loss over the combined cables...
